coastal conversations
Mother's Day celebrates motherhood and is a day to make an extra-special effort to recognize and appreciate all those Mothers in our lives whether blood or bond. On May 12th, 1907, Anna Jarvis of Philadelphia, PA honored her late mother, who had been a champion of women’s groups, with a memorial church service. On that day, Jarvis wore a white carnation as a tribute to her mother. Within just a few years, most states were observing “Mother’s Day,” and in 1914, it was made a national holiday. In the south, it became the tradition to gift your mother with a corsage on Mother’s Day, white flowers if her mother was no longer with us, and red or pink if you were celebrating together. Now many also honor extraordinary women who represent a mother figure in their life, like an aunt, sister, grandmother, or mentor – while corsages may seem a bit old-fashioned, flowers never go out of style. We assist our clients to show the affection and love you you are eager to convey on Mother’s Day with a modern twist on this southern tradition with our Lowcountry Gratitude gift. The best local beautiful and seasonal flowers, relaxing quality herbal tea, and luxurious bath products all from the Lowcountry will properly pamper her(s) on this special day.
The 54th RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing on Hilton Head Island, South Caroline is officially a "wrap." Ever since Arnold Palmer became the first winner of the Heritage Golf Tournament, it has become the Lowcountry spring event. After two years of anything but normal, this year’s tournament returned in all its glory and the fans known as “plaid nation” were there with the one of a kind red plaid on. The winner of the golf tournament famously dons the “Heritage Plaid” jacket modeled after the jacket inspired by Sir William Innes, the captain of Society of Golfers at Blackheath in Scotland from the 1790s. Sir Willie can now be seen around the course as our favorite Scottish mascot, and fans “get their plaid on” as they enjoy not only exceptional golf, but picturesque scenery, and southern hospitality at its finest. When hosting a Heritage Party, our “Southern Soiree” amenities will put your event above par. Think tasteful destination delights from heritageshortbread.com, custom plaid wine one of kind goblets from kristenaugustine.com, or handcrafted oyster shell and bead wine bottle necklaces for island appeal. Keepsakes that will give your guests wonderful memories and have them counting the days until the next RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing! #PlaidNation and warmest congratulations Jordan Spieth on his victory as the 54th golf Champion.

These gift bags, boxes or baskets are uniquely matching the wedding theme and colors. Included are maps, itineraries, thank you notes, local snacks picked from "her" and from "him."
